Prior to coming to work as a reporter and anchor at KFYR-TV in North Dakota, Van was an associate producer for CNN in New York City, working on several CNN primetime shows... Piers Morgan Tonight and Anderson Cooper 360.
A first generation Vietnamese-American woman, she has an M.A. from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara. Van is also an active member of the Asian American Journalists Association.
